Floorcare - Kärcher Scrubber-driers
Gone are the days of going down on hands and knees to polish your hardwood floors. Technology has brought to us the floor polisher, which undoubtedly is considered as an investment. Using floor polishers not only saves you time but it also saves you unnecessary muscle ache.
There are mainly two types of floor polishers: low speed and high speed units. The difference between the two is the way the high speed modules are supported on the ground by wheels or castors, whereas the low speed's weight puts pressure on the pad and floor whilst cleaning.

By using floor polishers you can keep your hardwood floors looking like new. It is important however to know exactly what kind of finish is on the floor. Polyurethane or wax are the two finishes used on hardwood floors, and using the correct cleaner to polish it with will be dependent on which one of the two it is.
Before you start using floor polishers, clean off any dirt by using a slightly damp mop. Do NOT under any circumstance use a wet mop as this will damage the floor. As the water filter through the wood finish and into the boards it damages the wood and there is no way you can reverse the effects. Once you've rid the floor of any dirt you can start using the floor polisher, applying the correct wood cleaner.
After using floor polishers, you will understand what a difference it makes to your hardwood floors. Shining like new, you will want to keep it so. The easiest way to maintain your beautiful clean wooden floors is by running a vacuum cleaner over the floors every now and then to suck up any dirt that might have been trapped between the boards. In case water might have fallen onto the floors, clean it up as soon as possible to ensure that your well polished hardwood floors remain looking like new!

Walk-behind scrubber dryers - The Kärcher range of walk-behind scrubber dryers is available in a wide range of versions with narrow or wide body, disc or roller brush, mains or battery powered, with or without detergent metering and sweeping attachments. Working width on these machines ranges from 400mm to 690mm.
Ride-on scrubber dryers - The Karcher range of ride-on scrubber dryers is available in a wide range of versions with disc or roller brush, compact or large body, battery powered, with or without detergent metering and sweeping attachments. Working width on these machines ranges from 640mm to 1200mm.
