Filter Hoppers

Vacuum hoppers are used in conjunction with vacuum conveyors as an easy, convenient means of loading material into machines or storage tanks. Various modifications have been made on vacuum hoppers to increase their versatility.
Vacuum hoppers are also used for dust removal in a conveying system by combining the vacuum hopper with a filter chamber and seperator.

The operation is simple, the material flows through the material line and into the hopper. The bottom valve is held close by vacuum.
The material is seperated from the vacuum airstream by the filter. Air flows out of the top line in the vacuum hopper and continues to the vacuum power unit.
